5 years ago, I never thought I would be the one making this announcement, but here I am. On behalf of cats and the rest of the staff, I'd like to say, first and foremost, thank you. Thank you for playing on the ProbablyAServer Team Fortress 2 servers for so long. Thank you for returning to them, and befriending the other folks who played here. Thank you for making all the silly groups outside of PAS, like the Geetz fanfiction group, and the 50 million Oro fan club groups. Thank you for coming to TF2 pugs every week back when we did them. Thank you for participating in the many PAS competitive teams that took their shots at UGC and ESEA titles, whether they were teams formed by myself, Cloud, Cats, Bumbler, or anyone else in the community. Thank you for playing in or watching the community events that took place over the years that Bumbler hosted, like Admins VS Community. This community kept me sane throughout high school and afterwards, and despite all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things we've all said to each other, jokingly or serious, I'd like to think this server chain had a very positive effect on each and every one of us.

It is with great sorrow that I must announce the end of the ProbablyAServer TF2 Servers. They will be offline February 1st, 2018, and will not be returning.

It has been an amazing experience to share with you all for the past 6 years, and a lot of great things have happened in this community. The decision for this does not come lightly, but there is simply no motivation from the ownership/staff team to continue the servers. Rather than let them decay from neglect, I believe it is time to get out of hosting community servers and move on with our lives.

ProbablyAServer has helped many people find friends, get through tough times, and even find people to spend their lives with. This is something we're extremely proud of, and we're happy we've touched so many lives. Whether you're from the original Dustbowl server, or the latest Turbine/Harvest servers, we appreciate the time you've spent with us, growing and learning together.

We would've never made it this far without a few very helpful individuals, some of which have been with us since the start, and a special few I'd like to thank personally for their time and devotion to the community and making it a better place. You may recognize most of these names, but if you don't, rest assured they were a key part of this community for many years.
