I am proud to announce that Ponyville.net now hosts Versus Ponyville servers to accommodate players in East Asia and Europe:

The Japanese server includes Japanese sounds for Bosses in addition to some songs. The Germany server will eventually include one song for each Boss from a different localization of MLP.

We've also added little pony quadruped models for Donors to use on all of our servers! The models can be used with any class on the Red Team and include several custom emotes: waving, bowing, dancing, and laughing, in addition to support for the high-five taunt. Quadruped models of the following ponies currently exist:

Bon Bon
Derpy
Fluttershy
Lyra
Pinkie Pie
Rainbow Dash
Rarity
Trixie
Twilight Sparkle

The models were custom-made by Friagram for PoniPoniPoni and Ponyville.net, so you won't find them anywhere else (with permission, anyways). Friagram is currently working on two additional models: Vinyl Scratch and Octavia. Feel free to watch his progress on his Twitch.tv stream and thank him for all of his hard work!

Hello everypony! I am proud to announce that we now have a NEW Ponyville server running my custom Freak Fortress 2 mod, Versus Ponyville! The server is located in the central United States (Dallas, Texas) and is 32 slots.

The bosses in Versus Ponyville (VSP) are themed after your favorite ponies from the show, complete with custom models, sounds, attacks, and music! Come check it out, everypony!

I wanted to clarify to everyone that once you donate, your reserved slot access and donator privileges should be activated on all servers within a few map changes. If you still cannot connect with your reserved slot after a few map changes, or are having other issues, then I would like to address your case as quickly as possible. I credit every user for their inconvenience and lost time whenever there is an error within our system.

Before coming to me however, it is necessary for you to first do a bit of troubleshooting on your own. Please take the time to follow these connection guidelines before attempting to contact me about issues with your account:

HOW TO CONNECT USING YOUR RESERVED SLOT

The reserved slot system on our servers can only be accessed in one of two ways; Console, or GameMenu.res.

The Console command for connecting to one of our servers is "connect 68.232.161.2:27015" (without the quotations marks). Don't forget to replace the IP with the IP of your preferred Ponyville server.

There is also a convenient GameMenu.res that you can download which will make joining with your reserved slot as easy as clicking a button. It can be found here: http://forum.ponyville.net/index.php?/topic/14-ponyville-join-server-button

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU CAN CONNECT WITH YOUR RESERVED SLOT.

Attempting to connect using the built-in server browser in Team Fortress 2, Auto-Join, etc., will not work. Make sure that you are using either the Console or GameMenu.res to connect.

Make the title of your PM "Donor System Issue" and include the following information:

- The PayPal e-mail address used to make the donation(s).
- If you donated for a friend (or they donated for you), include the PayPal Transaction ID.
- The SteamID that should be associated with the donation.*

Include as brief a description as possible about your issue. Do you get Donator Recognition (20% Cooler) on some servers, but not others? Does your reserved slot work on some servers, but not others? Did your donator time cut off prematurely? If you notice anything quirky, let me know in the message.

Please DO NOT send me a friend request on Steam or try to contact me via other services/websites, such as Raptr. I am unlikely to add you to my friend's list or receive your messages. PMing me on the forums is the ONLY way to contact me.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CONTACT ME DIRECTLY WITH THIS INFORMATION.

Other Admins are limited in their ability to help you as they do not have access to the Donor System itself for privacy/security reasons. I do not care how small your issue is either! Even if your donator time ended a day earlier than normal, it is still important to me that you are credited for all of your time.

I am sorry to anyone who has experienced, or is currently experiencing, issues with our Donor System. Thank you for your patience and most of all for donating. Your donations are what keep our servers, forums, and community going!

Today I will be performing a routine spring cleaning update of all databases associated with the servers and forum. During this time, many of the addons on our servers might break temporarily; including those relating to reserved slots. All servers will experience rolling restarts during this time as well.

This maintenance should only take a few hours, at which point you should be able to connect to your favorite servers and play as normal.

An extra day of play time will be credited to all current donator accounts.
