Read carefully, opinions appreciated, will repost multiple times.
I'll answer all questions and consider all ideas.

Since the system didn't work as intended, we decided to make some major changes.

Problem n.1
No entries. Probably the biggest problem.

Solution: Removed Bundle points (R.I.P 2013-14) and merged them together with Win points.

To ensure that ALL giveaways will get entries as long as there's at least one person who wants the game, YOU will be the one who gets to decide, what is the value of your gift. You can do so either on our giveaways discussion page (where all the GAs are posted) or in giveaway description.

Example: Let's say I'm giving away Bioshock: Infinite. Since it was on sale multiple times, nobody will want to spend 50 points to enter. So instead of 50 points, I'll write "Value: 20 points" into comments description and the chances of getting more entries are way higher then. So once someone wins, I'm getting 20 points and he loses the same amount.
Minimum is 0 points (=free giveaway), maximum is the contributor value.
Applies for both bundle and non-bundle GAs, which means that we value all games the same - but you get to decide, how much the GA earns you.
If you don't write the amount of points you want, CV applies (inb4 1 CV = 1 win point).


Since BP and WP merged, I converted all your BPs to WPs at 1:1 rate.


Problem n.2 Leechers - we all hate them.

Solution:
The new borderline for instantly kicking is -25 Win Points.
This line applies only to new members (so not you).
After 1 month of membership, it doubles to -50.
Deadlines are the same, but they are firm now (especially for new members).

Problem n.3 Points spreading.
Since we spread points before the GA ends, it made people feel comfortable with entering giveaways even before the GA gets at least one entry.

Solution:
We will spread points after the GA ends from now on.


Other changes:
- I re-wrote the group main page and spreadsheet
- renamed giveaway discussion page, locked bundle giveaways page



More changes might follow.

I'm gonna make several giveaways so we'll see how it works.

Recruitment will start again soon.

There're people with negative points and deadlines which expired like two weeks (and more) ago.


Those people are:

the_true -30 WP; deadline expired three weeks ago.
morbid237 -1 BP; deadline expired a month ago.
Skreech -1 BP; deadline expired a month ago.
samstone13 -1 WP; deadline expired a month ago.

I didn't feel like kicking people for -1 WP/BP, but damn.. you had so much time to make a giveaway, so many new bundles were released and I'm sure there'd be some people interested in games from them.

I'm not really gonna message every member every time their deadline is about to expire, it's your responsibility to keep track of the spreadsheet whenever you win something...

Those members I mentioned will be kicked in 3 days unless they make a GA or contact me and explain the situation.

As of now, there are 6 people including me that might donate something for the Christmas lottery. If you wish to make a donation, write a comment into the "Christmas Lottery" discussion under "Lotteries".
Donations are purely optional, but very appreciated.
Also write what game(s) are you willing to donate.

The entry fee will be either 5 or 10 WP depending on the size of prize poll.
You can enter how many times you want.

The draw will take place soon after the 24th of Dec. I feel like people should spend time with their family instead of waiting behind computer for their possible winnings and I'm not sure if I'll be online on the 24th-25th neither, so we'll do the draw on the 26th. I might make a video of the draw or something to prove it's legit.

And lastly but most importantly, Merry Christmas guys ;)

1. Irvineanca has left without any explanation. He had large amount of negative WPs, so I guess it's understandable, I was about to kick him anyway, since he didn't respond to any of my messages and kept entering GAs. I advise requesting reroll for any GAs that he won/will win.

2. Since this is our 3rd leecher and 3 is usually enough, we decided to slightly change the rules for newcomers - if they reach -40 WP (basically one AAA title after they contributed with entry GA or multiple cheaper titles) within 14 days, they'll be kicked immediatelly. After 14 days the usual rules apply for them as for other members (-60=warning, -100=instant kick). I'm really getting sick of leechers.
Also, try to keep track of your points and deadlines, I'm reminding like three people every week that their deadline is about to expire...

3. As for events:

3.1. The lottery event won't happen right now, since it seems too few people would participate (only Jan and Sean were willing to donate). Because of that and because Christmas is coming soon - we're gonna do a Christmas lottery. The rules are same (read the previous "Important stuff"). The draw will happen on the 23rd of December, I'll try to make a video as proof. If you wish to donate a game (any game at all), visit the thread under "Lotteries" discussion.

3.2. The gaming event got pretty much the same attention as the lottery event - almost none. Though there might be enough people to fill a round of a MOBA game / TF2 or something... Tell me when would you be able to participate - which day and time.

1. To the 5 new members - welcome! We hope you'll enjoy being part of the group. Don't forget to check the rules and keep track of the spreadsheet. It's also great to check discussions now and then, since we like to talk about stuff and your opinion matters.

2. I already mentioned (in a previous "Important stuff") an idea about hosting a lottery for the group.
Anyone can participate. If you want to enter, you have to "sacrifice" some of your Win Points. The current rate is 1 Entry = 10 WP. Multiple entries are allowed. I created a new forum called "Lotteries" and a new discussion "Donations". If you wish to donate something, there're two ways of doing so (read the thread).

Once we get some donations (I'll also donate - thinking about State of Decay/The Wolf amongst Us/Walking Dead S2), I'll make another discussion where you can enter the lottery.

I'll do the draw via random.org.

3. As for the gaming event - tell me when would you like it to take place. Maybe around 8 p.m. GMT? Which day? And most importantly - what game would you like to play.

Also I'm maintaining the spreadsheet this week, so tell me if there's a problem with the points or something.
