Just thought I would use this to help us have a guideline for pricing purposes.

I can now confirm that the system pricing does not take genetic stats into consideration. Rather it uses the Gold/Silver/Bronze values as guides, with aging appearing to affect cash price only by a small amount. So it may simply be the case of allocating a bonus value for number of 100 stats and whether it is albino/leucistic coloured.

I think that is the animals appeal rating.

Yes they are the appeal values. Higher the number the better the status and the higher the price offered as a default.

I see animals with completely different stats getting the same appeal rating because they were born in the same litter, and animals with bronze badges get higher appeal than ones with gold badges (of the same species and age). I've kinda only regarded it so far as an indicator of when I might be better off letting an animal loose in the wild (because loosing bases CC gains on appeal).

Seems like the AI guests are attracted to the animals appeal, which results in more $. A greater appeal should result in more guests, more happiness, more donations and purchases. Or as you pointed out you can also get more CC or trade$

Humans are attracted to the animals attributes. When selecting animals i look for stats such as size/longevity first. When all four stats are equal i would choose an animal that has a higher appeal; hoping to gain a slight monetary advantage.

That is what I was pointing out. The stats have nothing to do with value, and nothing to do with rating. It’s possible that the more and animal is shown an interest in the better the rating but hard to say. I’ve been trading out almost as soon as they mature.

The star rating 0 to 5 stars increases the longer they are in the zoo so that may be linked to visits by guests. Now, whether the star rating increases the value I don’t know but that would only help with release as the longer you keep an animal the shorter breeding time the next buyer has.
