The Tier System - Overview
WELCOME

Welcome, this is a thread to explain what a Tier is and why we have them.

A Tier (by the way it is called this as in German this means Animal) is a set amount of animals based on a Seed Number.

A Seed Number is found by the number which correlates to the bands below:

1. <10 types of animal in the Franchise Market
2. <25 types of animal in the Franchise Market
3. <50 types of animal in the Franchise Market
4. >50 types of animal in the Franchise Market

The Seed Number then is changed into the different Tier numbers and what "Alert" is on that type of animal in terms for Breeding them.

Tier 1

Tier 1 is the highest alert for the PZCBR Group and means it is critically endangered in terms of market availability.

Often the types of animal in this Tier will be our focus for a weekly project/challenge when their is not an official challenge.

Tier 2

This Tier is the second highest alert within this group and means the animal is endangered in our community Franchise marketplace.

Tier 3

Tier 3 is the second lowest alert for the program and is for animals that have a less concern status in terms of market availability.

Tier 4

This Tier is the lowest alert for the breeding program and is for animals which are common on the market.

WHY HAVE TIERS?

The Tier system above is in order to evaluate and detect missing animals within the Franchise Mode Marketplace. Often, these will be different to the ones that Zoopedia in game says are Endangered (etc). However, these tiers won't try to diminish your fun by breeding Critically Endangered species/animal as noted in game but the above is more of a guideline to what the community needs.
