Hello everyone, and happy new year!

Unfortunately the reason for this post is not just to wish everyone well in the new year, but also to announce that I'm no longer going to be updating the skin. My workload is going to spike at the start of this year, and finding time for updates, and generally maintaining the community, is going to be too much of a distraction. Client updates are too unpredictable and it makes managing my spare time more painful than it has to be. Sorry guys!

As for the continued existence of this skin in some form or another (whether faithful to the original, or heavily modified), anyone willing and able to pick up the task has my permission to do so. Notice my emphasis on "able" though, as I'm really not going to have the time or inclination to tutor anyone on how Steam skinning works, or be at all involved I'm afraid.

(Skinners: everything you need is in the final archive, there is nothing in the way of source PSDs anymore as they were lost in a reformat. The font used in the version/about text is Hooge 05_53).

In the meanwhile, if you ever want or need a new skin, here are a couple of suggestions. Though I've not been able to find any that resemble PixelVision design-wise, you can definitely expect the same (if not a higher) level of quality and dedication from these:

• Metro for Steam by BoneyardBrew
  
• Air by Inhibitor
  
• Pressure by TDD

These are only a couple that personally appeal to me, you can find a complete and up-to-date list of skins here.

On a final note, I'd just like to thank the community for the continued feedback over the years. The skin would not be where it is today without it. And a special thanks to all those who went out of their way to donate a little something, I really appreciate it!
