Bumping this thread because it was brought to my attention that stability does have an effect in VR. I previously thought it didn't, since it has no effect on visual kick.

I checked the code and this seems to be the relevant bit:

This essentially adds the current camera "kick" value divided by 10 (which is affected by stability) to the spread. For most weapons, this basically means that your spread worsens the longer you fire.

This is easily countered by simply tap firing or not spraying for long periods of time.

I probably explained it a bit badly (perhaps damage cooldown isn't the best name for such a mechanic), but you can still attack during the cooldown. You'll just be penalized by dealing less damage.

It seems to set the damage to 0 after a successful hit and gradually build it up to base damage again. So if you do a Katana hit for 70 and try to hit again immediately after, you'll do much less.
You can try it out on the punching bag in Dragan's safehouse room.

Such a mechanic pretty much penalizes flailing (or even accidentally hitting geometry for that matter), so you either have to awkwardly wait between strikes or save it for a big target.

Expire time actually does matter for VR players. There's an unexplained "damage cooldown", as I like to call it, that reduces your damage after you hit something (even if not an enemy). It has to build up back to full damage again.

This "damage cooldown" timer seems to rely on the expire time. So the actual model range isn't the only deciding factor.

On another note,
does not actually exist; I suspect they forgot to ship it. That's where it should go though.

The dash should also be considered, I've found the most efficient way to move in VR is by mixing normal sprinting with long range dashes. Even in an ICTV I can outrun (or at least match, assuming the dash isn't busy getting stuck on geometry) desktop players in a suit.

Noticed the loading screen textures were missing, so I went through tipstweakdata manually. May have missed something though.

The NPCs on the top are technically just props with an animation (like the crowd in Alesso). I don't believe they count.
