Hey Ontario (More specifically the Waterloo Region) ! Apologies to those of you outside my region but I needed a wider way to get the message out! I was thinking about this for a few weeks now, and I wanted to gauge interest by posting in here. My idea was, to rent a room in either RIM Park or the Rec Center (or any other community location if we all agree on one), and host a BYOC LAN every second and fourth Friday of each month. A room is 42.50 an hour, therefore to rent a room for 5 hours as planned in this schedule, I would have to charge 22 dollars per person if only 10 people came out. The schedule would go something like this (definitely very loose schedule):

7:00 pm : Door open

7:45 : Comp setup most likely completed

7:50 - 8:50 : Warmup, DM, socialize (Bring snacks to share possibly?)

8:55 : server setup

9:00 - 10:00 : first game (buffer time accounted for Overtime etc.)

10:00 - 10:15 : break

10:15 : server setup

10:20 - 11:20 : second game

11:25 : pack up

11:45 : close
