It was made Hirohiko Araki. The Moon is a Part 9 Stand.

And, they did plan on making it just a fake, but then a UFO crashed in Roswell, and they decided to actually land on the moon, and use Area 51 for the UFO! Totally true...

Yup it was faked, with millions of expensive lasers and a miniature acclimatized sun... Don’t forget the part of them replicating impossible to recreate shadows. That one too. Don’t believe me? Well they were hiding CG effects from the world, and over 400,000 NASA employees and like eight countries, including our sworn enemy the Soviet Union just all kept their mouths shut because that makes a lot of sense and if you don’t believe me your a #sheeple
