Eh, hello guys, I'm new to this group. As I understand it, most people here go to the gym, me too))
I see you are sharing your characteristics here. Of course, I haven’t shown myself publicly yet and haven’t talked about my trips to the gym, but I still want to do it.
Height - 1.74 meters
Weight - 64 kg
I didn’t strictly lift biceps, but without cheating I easily lifted 45kg
The bench press record was 90 kg, but lately I haven’t been able to do it, so I bench press 85 kg
Last time I squatted 75 kg for 4 times
Last time I pulled 100 kg
I understand that this is not the best result and sharing this is to some extent selfish and self-confident, but everything that was said above was done more than once, not just one approach, these are my WORKING weights. I’m not trying to present myself in any way, I’m just sharing information as it was shared and other people in this group. By the way, let me clarify that i'm 15 y.o.

sup brahs, new to the group. Been lifting for about 4-5 months now. Went from 178-200. Still lean. Eating a healthy diet, taking supps, and making sure to get 180-200 protein a day. I lift about 5-6 days week and prioritize compound lifts. I also do 30 min cardio 4 times a week and infrared sauna about 3 days a week.
Happy to be part of this group bros.
Rainer 25 Nov, 2023 @ 4:36pm
I would recommend training 5 to 6 times a week. This depends on whether you're trying to gain weight or lose it. I lost 60 lbs in 6 months using this method, which is 10 lbs a month while eating healthy food.

In the case of losing weight, I recommend 5 times a week for a beginner. Nothing intense or that discourages you from working out. But just something that gets you sweating a little and leaving you craving for more.

You want to get a minimum of 1 hour in with moderate intensity and 15 to 20 reps. In your diet you should be cutting out most fast food and eating it max once every week if you really have to.

Eat meats with natural Creatine like red meat and chicken, drink proteins to supplement so that as you lose the weight, you lose less muscle.

Thanks man, means a lot. It was my second day at gym today, better than the first.
Nice quote, i heard it before but never bothered to remember it or store it in my head, but now i will. Cheers.
Vazkulator 20 Oct, 2023 @ 9:58am
just do your best at home with what youve got to complement the three day split with a rest day in between each.

dumbells and a bench is prio #1 id say, anything from 10kg should be the minimum resistance for most men to feel enough resistance if youre uncertain of what weight range to start investing in dumbells.

The Roman Empire wasnt built in a day
stamatia 20 Oct, 2023 @ 8:00am
if i could go 3 times a week i would man, but really, i can't. so im gonna try working out at home as well. i got everything i need, a pullup bar, weights, but all the gym equipment in the world cant change feeling like shit all the time, but i tried, we all try, so i took the first step of going to the gym. thanks for the advice, its nice to talk to people to help me about getting my shit together.
Vazkulator 18 Oct, 2023 @ 3:33pm
3 day split is actually the recommended baseline for a beginner the first 4 months for your tendons/joints to adapt to pressure from compound & isolation movements that the beginner lifters arent accustomed to yet

youll do fine, patience is not just about the mind to become an athlete but the time needed for tendons/joints/ligaments to adapt in becoming one too.

if you give your body this time to adapt, youll definitely notice the difference of adapting in rougly 4-6 weeks up to 3-4 months, may vary
stamatia 18 Oct, 2023 @ 6:32am
i used to workout for months at home doing squats pullups and some weights, but squats dont compare to the machines. i live far from my gym so i will be going only 2 times a week unfortunetly, but thats still better than not going at all. thanks guys for motivating me more!
