So long as people have legendary it shouldn't be an issue with compatibility; though you miss out on selecting the 3 teams and stadiums that come with Choas edition. So if anyone is interested and doesn't have the game. At present I believe you can get the legendary edition (inc the original+DE) for £14.99 on steam, which gives you about 20 teams to choose from.

Happy to set up a league, ran them in the past before, though would prob be better once we have definate numbers. That way can run championships, and everyone starts off on the same foot. In terms of availibility once a week-every 10 days is a good average and should keep it going at a steady pace.

according to the mighty google it matter not whether you have CE or LE, you just cant play as the new races on LE, somthing i didnt not know :) which is good and may present aditional players. From what i gather the new races are insanely hard bar 1
