For those that were having problems with the launcher, this forum thread explains how to get the new launcher working. Give it a try, lots of hackers seem to have been banned, and events are being done a few times a week.

and regarding NC:S, I know you people have been waiting for a long time, but we were having trouble finding people who map, so we have put the large scale fps mod on hold for now, and are focussing on smaller game projects in the neocron world. We are quite far with a game that should come out pretty soon.
