Irish and British diplomats attended a peace summit in Belfast, as to conclude a peace treaty between the two nations. An agreement was met with stipulations being -

1. Cease of hostilities. 2. Exchange of prisoners. 3. The implementation of British officials as Revenue Commissioners.

3.1: The customs stipulation has superior status to Irish law.
3.2: That the United Kingdom can revoke the customs stipulation at any time that it deems fit.
3.3: That the customs stipulation is negated once the German Reich is deemed no longer a threat to the United Kingdom.
