How to use this forum? When I take a break from playing or something else prevents me from playing my instrument I either study songs, listen to songs, deal with band business, or study music theory. Have you ever heard of the term "Immersion"?

Immersed - involve oneself deeply in a particular activity or interest

•deep mental involvement: "his immersion in music"

•a method of teaching a foreign language by the exclusive use of that language, usually at a special school

When I studied foreign languages I immersed my self in them, in that country, and I was surrounded or immersed in them at all times. What is music theory? The Language of Music.

If you want to become good at something as quickly as you can then immerse yourself in that activity as much as possible.
