A group for reviving dead multiplayer games

Multiplayer Medics is a group dedicated to reviving dead multiplayer games.

Each week we'll arrange a gameplay session for a multiplayer game that lacks a regular playerbase. Every Sunday, 4 games will be randomly selected and placed into a poll within the forums. Group members can then cast their vote for which of the 4 games they'd like to play the coming Sunday. The game that is chosen by popular vote will be played on each Sunday at 7:00 P.M. GMT for 1 hour. Below is a list of a few common timezones.


PST: 12 PM
CST: 1 PM
EST: 2 PM
CET: 8 PM

Nobody is required to play unless the game they voted for is chosen. However, all users are of course encouraged to play if they own the game.



1. DO NOT vote unless you are able to make the game session. Participation is not required, however if you vote for a game that is then chosen, it's expected that you show up for that session.

2. Game sessions will last 1 hour. It is expected that if you join a session you play for at least 1 hour. Even if you don't particularly enjoy the game, you should finish the hour play session for the benefit of the other group members. This is important for the integrity of the group. Some players will continue to play after the hour mark but only 1 hour is REQUIRED.

3. NO achievement boosting. There are plenty of places online to find boosting partners. This group is intended for people that simply want to play the games as intended. Working towards achievements or in-game challenges that are in the spirit of the game (i.e., get X amount of kills with Y weapon) are perfectly fine.


Eligible games are placed into a spreadsheet and 4 are randomly chosen each week. Those 4 are placed into a forum thread and users make a post to vote for their game of choice. The game chosen by popular vote each week is played during the Sunday session and then removed from selection for 3 weeks. The 3 games that lost are placed back into the spreadsheet and are immediatly available for reselection.
