Team Fortress 2: I recommend Team Fortress 2 because it is the most popular and most successful Half-Life 2 Mod. Valve did a great job making this first person shooter, which at times is not really even a shooter. One moment, your team needs a scout to go whack the hell out of those annoying enemies, and the next, you are called for as a medic to go "be a support" for your fellow teammates. From the speedy scout to the sharp-eyed sniper, the cyclopian demoman to the trigger-happy soldier, the sneaky spy to the arsonist pyro, and the heavy/medic combo to the camping engineer; this truly is one of the best FREE first-person shooters I have ever seen. Unturned: On my curator page, i did mention Apocalyptic games, but this game just blows me away. This game, Unturned, was made by a student, Nelson Sexton, and is being worked on by that same student, while still in school. Nelson Sexton has made many blunders in the past (at least, according to me), but still has kept the game great. I started when 3.0 Beta was not an option, and i loved 2.0, but the map wasn't the greatest and was not even being worked on. I was wrong about the latter end of the previous sentence; Sexton did not make a huge improvement of the map, he made an entirely new one. I believe that this next map, Canada, is the best normal Unturned map. Canada was the first step of the 3.0 Beta. Now, we are on version 3.10.8.5 and using the 3.0 PEI map (Prince Edward Island). The one thing from 2.0 that disappeared and did not come back until very recently were animals. The animals are members of the Cervidae family (elk and deer) and give venison and leather when you kill them. It is very hard to kill an animal using a melee weapon, and a gunshot will just scare them off. The things that i would like to see improved about the animals are: more animals, a larger variety of animals, and an achievement for killing animals in 3.0.
