out of curiosity, what was causing the issue?

It was a hidden max upload size in the web server's configuration. If a file was too big, it would fail to submit the entire form and give a "Please entire a title" error.

For some other people, their files were so large, that after hitting "Upload" it took a while for a response to show up, leading some people to believe that the button wasn't working, and pressing it again, causing the upload to restart.

Great news everyone, thanks to IkanaCanyon and Aphearse's testing help, we've solved the problem. Most of the upload problems should be fixed, with some more stuff coming in tomorrow's update.

Now that's extremely odd. There's nothing really that could be causing that- the login is just part of the page, and there's no server errors signifying a failure to create it. Could you send me your page source (ctrl+u)? For both the Firefox index and the upload page. Use pastebin or something of the like. I'd like to make sure everything is there lol.

It appears no data is being sent at all from your upload attempts. Even if I try to upload without filling anything it still sends something, just null/false values. This goes for all browsers- on multiple computers. Even though I can't be 100% certain, it appears to be something on your end. Try multiple browsers, make sure any extensions that could be messing with any HTML or Javascript is disabled, and try private browsing modes. I know it's not just you with the issue, but everything seems pretty perfect on the server side of things.

Hey Ikana, ignore those numbers for now, they're irrelevant. Try uploading one more time and let me know when you've done that.

EDIT: Ok, so Ive done every step separately, first I tried to upload an empty mod and I was told to put a title (working fine for now), I put in only the title and tried again; I was told to put a short description, I did that and tried again; it told me to put a long description, I did that and tried again; now it told me there was no file specified so I selected the file and tried again and there's where it says... just with the message "no file specified", this seems to be the case with whatever step I left for last... say I left the title for last, tried to upload without a title, then include the title and try again, the message "please enter a title" will just stay there. Is there any chance theres a problem with my ".zip" file and the page doesnt know how to tell me?

Very interesting, thanks for taking the time to test everything. I think I have a better idea of what might be causing the issue. I've added some debug logging, if you could do what you tried there one more time that would help immensely.

Both, really. Your problem seems like a Javascript or browser error.

Tell me, are you having flies hovering around the page sometimes? Are you able to change the filters when browsing mods and see changes? Do sounds work for you?

If you open up the inspector (Ctrl+Shift+I in Chrome, Ctrl+Shift+C in Firefox) are you seeing any errors in the console tab? Any errors in there when you try to submit a mod?
