As veteran bridge hold players or soon to be experienced bridge holders, many of us learn individually and also as a team what positions to be in in certain situations. We learn from observering others and we also learn from teaching each other. But when A E I said "because of bad formation", something dawned on me. I was thinking about football and how they have all these different formations all charted out and details of what positions each player should take. Then I thought what if we did the same for atrium? But more amazingly, how would it look, or how successful would a team be if every member of the team strictly worked together taking their formations for every situation?

I have to strongly agree with A E I's statement that it's because of bad formation that we take a lot of damage. He went on further to say that "there is a formation for every tank spawn", and started giving a few examples of scenarios and which positions to take.

I just wanted to bring this up because I found it very interesting. A E I, I hope you can make some illustrations for us and share your knowledge to the rest of the community (:

Some questions to ponder:

What are the strengths and weakness of every position? How can a team work together to make up for the weakness and emphasize the strengths?

Is the best formation a formation that aims to kill Tanks fastest? Or that aims for safety? What is the best formation?

What are some necessary or unnecessary things a player should do?

A solo is without bots or help from spectators. Of course health supplies are ok to use. But Straws, if you or the bots used any kits, shots, or pills, it would say so in your stats, but it says 0 for all health supplies, which is probably the biggest reason people have a hard time believing you... Especially if you kept the bots alive for as long as you say, because they aren't typically very good at avoiding damage, and will eat pills when they're not even slow. If you don't care anymore, you wouldn't take the time to respond imo... But whatever, hopefully that's the end of it.

I'd be really surprised if s/he went even 7 minutes without the bots using some health supplies... Bots will take pills after losing like 40hp... so if s/he did solo with bots, how did they manage to keep them from taking any damage?

I and many others get accused of having cheated for our records, regardless if there are screenshots/videos out there to prove otherwise. If you feel the need to prove yourself that badly, do another solo and record it and get just half the time that you did... You can also prove you are a good player capable of achieving over an hour by continuing to help other players get high records.

If you did solo for 70 minutes without using any supplies, then congrats & what an accomplishment, but I feel so sorry for you to get so worked up over this game. Even if your time is legit and you have a full demo for proof from start to finish, there will still be people out there doubting you sometimes. That's just the way that it is. So, either put your big girl panties on & quit your cryin' and just keep playing to achieve new times for yourself and others who could use a great player on their team, or rage quit and uninstall.

I don't really do much soloing myself but I believe the most effective way to go about it is to avoid killing specials as much as you can. Don't kill them unless they are an immediate threat to you. If you keep them alive chasing you then you don't have to worry about them surprise-spawning above or ahead of you, same goes for tanks. I think you will have to stay just far enough from them that you're safe but close enough that you always know where they are. The more you play the more predictable it is where they will climb or go to try catching you. Hope this helps, and also hopefully a player with more experience running solo will see this and have some useful tips for you. :)
