Fun Facts About Miso

She is my very first cat ever.
Her actual birthday is in January! She just turned 1.
She is a white, long-haired Persian cat.
She has a very delicate morning routine starting with cuddles and attention, and ending with food in her belly.
She hates being combed, but unfortunately, it’s a must. Otherwise, she ends up getting a lot of her fur shaved, like she did a couple of months ago.
She loves sleeping more than anything.
Sometimes she demands so much attention that it becomes impossible for me to get anything done. I still give her attention tho.
Even if she just ate, the moment I bring food to my room, she gets super excited and wants to steal a bite.
She loves drinking water from everything, but her own bowl. Especially my glass full of water. Oh and FROM the shower, it is like a big bowl of water for her.
I think she is deaf. She really doesn't recognise our voices and screams if she cannot finds us even tho we are screaming "Misoo!! I am here"
She hates to be carried anywhere. But I started to realize that I am gaining her trust since she let's me carry her a little more than anyone else could ever. A win is a win.

Get to Know Miso

Since you are all here, I think it is the time to introduce you my everyday favorite, Miso.

I got Miso in September 2024, she was such an unexpected gift to my life. At first, I was really scared. I was scared to get close to her, I was scared to leave her alone for a while, I was scared if I was doing something wrong. But I gave both her and myself some time. Things turned out great, I think I am her favorite human ever. We have morning cuddles everyday, and if I am lucky sometimes I even get cuddles to sleep too.

About her name, now I am pretty sure most of you never heard a cat named Miso, well me neither. And when I named her I actually felt like the coolest mom on the planet cause my girl has one unique name. But to be honest with you, how I got the idea of the name is even a story itself. Me and dear Cue was on our Stardew Valley obsession around early fall of 2024. I wanted to get a white cat because somehow that's how I always imagined my future cat would be since I was a kid (some strong manifestation there btw). Also, a side story to this, I love rating words. Yes. Rating words. Like word "Marshmellow" is 9/10, "Olive" 8.5/10, "Horse" is like 6.5/10. (Don't judge me if I am autistic, I believe everybody is at some point) At that point, I came across to the word/s "Miso Soup", you know, the dish. It is such a good word of combinations tbh. When you say it out loud it feels smooth and warm. Anyways 9/10. So I got inspired there and my first ever virtual cat was named Miso. And lucky me, I got a real one. So of course I named her Miso.

Since I got her, she has become a part of my life, and who I am. People often mention Miso and me in the same sentence. This fluffy little white cat turned out to be the greatest luck of my life Not to get way too sentimental about her in a random group chat in Steam but you get the idea. Because of how much she has impacted my life, I wanted to make her name and silhouette last forever, and share it people I enjoy being around, just like Miso would.

So as you can guess, this will be a Steam group about my beloved cat Miso. I will post "Miso Moments" here, some fun facts about her. I have no such big goals about this group becoming a community but I also wouldn't say no to idea hehe.
