So, had a group of people wanting to go to SMG again this year so thought i should revive MiP. We have a webpage setup at mip.geek.nz again and have a few other projects in planning that I'm working on.

As I am reviving this, Megahbite, would you be able to make me owner of the group so I can successfuly manage this again.

Well we are up to 5 people registered and paid for SMG this year, I unfortunately won't be around on the monday but i'm sure this will still be a good weekend for obtaining all those 'linux' iso's and to play some games we haven't in a while.

Hey guys, it's been a while.

There's another SMG LAN at Rongotai College on Queen's Birthday Weekend (June 5-7) coming up. I know those of us who went last year really enjoyed ourselves and I'm hoping that [MiP] will have a presence there this year.

There are tournaments planned for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Call of Duty 4 (none of this Modern Warfare 2 crap), Counter-Strike Source, Farcry 2, Team Nations and Unreal Tournament 2004.

So far me, Honka, Wuffles, ConductorCat and Valk have all signed up to attend. It'd be good to see some more of you there. You'll have to get in quick as it's already overbooked but there are still over half the seats unconfirmed.
