The new Steam client beta update dropped, and the interface got a big overhaul (now it's on Electron I guess). Changed almost (if not) every window to the new design (including settings).

However, with all of that, there is no button to change skin: https://i.imgur.com/LOy4lo2.png
So it can be said that skinning for Steam is officially dead.

It's been a fun ride. Thank you everyone involved in this project. I used that skin almost since the beginning.

There was a problem after the steam update 02.02.23. The interface simply disappears after entering the library. At the top where the store, library and so on. Will it be fixed or not?(

It seems change steam account was removed. You can now change account by using the log out of account from the profile dropdown, (near the inbox icon)

Also for some reason the unofficial patch still has the change steam account . Don't know why :D

@龙争虎斗加基森: it should be on the hamburger menu on the left side. If you're using the unofficial patch then it is on the steam menu on the left side

where is the CHANGE STEAM ACCOUNT ?

@KILLA: type the letter h in the search bar , in your library, and the hidden category will show up. If you're using the unofficial patch you can also find an option called `Hidden Games` in the hamburger menu

@BlackL1NE: go in the skin folder then in resource folder and delete steamscheme.res

Hey, i've reinstalled Steam today, but didn't delete the skins folder and my "Full Screen" button in top right corner has disappeared. Any fixes?

@ツ : library cannot be skinned with the usually method. You can check the discord of the unofficial patch to find out how to skin it

I have a question, why is the background in the library gray and opaque as usual, how to fix it and is it possible to fix it at all?

@The Doom Slayer: library can no longer be skinned. However there is an alternative by using a third-party app. Check the unofficial patch discord channel for more info.

@nvm: valve changed how the library works so that cannot be changed by official means. Check out the unofficial patch discord group for a way to skin those

@JZNS: it's not possible to add things. Skins can only edit the appearance of existing things
