The first ever mouseOne Racing League Pro League race has just finished, and the Australia Grand Prix did not disappoint. Joshua Burns and Chris brought the action to the m1productions Twitch channel, the drivers brought their race pace and the viewers brought the popcorn as we all experienced an absolutely action packed race.

It was one you did not want to miss, but if you did miss it, here's everything you need to know heading out of Melbourne and heading into Bahrain.

The Results

At the end of a race definitely suitable to kick off the second season of the mouseOne Racing League, new driver Windy took his first ever mouseOne Racing League win after a battle throughout the closing stages of the race with other new driver HaZe. Windy sealed the race win in Lap 25 after a great overtake on HaZe to take first place, holding it until the end of the race.

As said above, HaZe takes second place in what was a brilliant battle for the top position. A great race for him means that he places second in the championship with an early burst of points and he proves he can hang with the big boys as he finishes second after a very close battle with Windy.

Last season's champion Dragonarium finished on target today as he managed to reach third place and round out the Australia podium. The Mercedes driver finished above last season's rival M.Meester, starting 8th on the grid and making 1 stop throughout the 39 laps.

Unfortunately we did have a few DNFs. GetOwned, Thyge, Sever, Sempai and Brogan did not finish after dealing with their own incidents and unfortunately Dennis could not start the race after technical errors post qualifying.

Windy was the stream team's Driver of the Race after finishes first with a great performance.

ICYMI: #m1RacingLeague's Singapore

Yesterday brought us the 14th race of Season 1 as we move into the final stages of the first mouseOne Racing League season. After we had finished up with the appeals and podiums of last week's race of Italy where we saw Eiersmijter, Dragonarium and Thyge taking the top 3 podium places, the top 3 leaders of the mouseOne Racing League Driver's Championship were Dragonarium, Thyge and Spicey2.

Qualifying ended with all 19 drivers setting a lap throughout the session. In the end Spicey2 managed to take pole position by staying just 0.092 seconds ahead of championship leader Dragonarium. Thyge rounded off the podium, keeping Eiersmijter out of the top 3.

We then move onto the main race, where we saw 5 drivers DNF from the race; BonelessCigar, Superlink (who are both Ferrari drivers), R4NCE, Brogan and Lolerz. Other interesting events from the race were Mickey picking up 35 seconds of penalities and the main race lasting 53 minutes in total. Spicey lasted the test of stamina and took first place, with Moron taking second place and Eiersmijter rounding out the podium in third place.

This had an effect on the Driver's Championship as we saw Spicey taking second place in the championship, putting Thyge down into third place. The top 10 is now: Dragonarium, Spicey2, Thyge, Moron, Yeltnebamus, Brawli, Gibby, Klauui, Eiersmijter and TNMO.

Season 2 Announcement

These drivers in the top 10 will be hoping to hold their places as it has been announced today that the top 10 finishing drivers for Season 1 will automatically receive a seat in the "mouseOne Pro Racing League" for next season as we officially announce that we will feature two tiers for our F1 leagues next year; the m1 Pro Racing League and the m1 Developmental Racing League.

Further details will be announced as we quickly approach the second season of the mouseOne Racing League.

Vacancies

We also have three vacancies for to join the mouseOne Racing League Assistant team. Both roles are voluntary at the time and can provide great experience in the roles provided.

- Social Media Manager
The social media manager will be working with the mouseOne Racing League Staff team to build up the social media following for the mouseOne Racing League as well as providing a good service to existing followers of the #m1RacingLeague Twitter account. People looking to get experience in marketing and social media, this role is for you!

- Graphic Designer
The graphic designer will be working with the mouseOne Racing League Staff team to create great graphics for the mouseOne Racing League; from Twitter posts of standings and simple images to the graphics used on the weekly mouseOne Racing League streams and other events hosted by the mouseOne Racing League. Photoshop enthusiasts looking to work in the F1 community, this role is for you!

- Content Writers/Journalists
Content writers will be working with each other to provide quality content and articles for the Steam group and other upcoming mouseOne projects. These writers will be writing about the mouseOne Racing League and other m1 Racing League events; from opinions pieces to interviews to previews. Looking to get into esports journalism? This is the chance to work with an experienced writer and other upcoming writers looking to get into the industry!
