I played through the first level of Tiny Bang Story now and didn't experience any issues. Do you have any other devices plugged in that might interfere with mouse input?

I also tried Lume, and it works without issues for me. Maybe Adobe Flash Player doesn't work on SteamOS? There's no complicated setup via a terminal like with Adobe AIR though, and I made sure I could run it without having that installed.

Tiny Bang Story was working for me the last time I tried it, but I'll give it another try.

Many AGS games have issues with achievements on Linux (and occasionally Windows and OS X). I think we should go through them systematically and see if any of them can be fixed with newer versions of AGSteam. Most of them also have issues with the Steam overlay and Alt+Tab either not working or locking the cursor.

Was Cosmochoria fixed? I only now realized that it was recommended by this curator, and I can run it just fine from Steam without any workarounds. There's another solution to fix the dependency issue if you want to run it as a standalone (without the Steam runtime), but it's a hack and involves using sed to replace the reference to libudev.so.0 in the executable. I don't know if it's necessarily a good idea to recommend that users do that though.

I think most AGS games (like The Cat Lady) have broken overlays, as well as 32-bit NW.js games (Airscape). Elliot Quest is ImpactJS I think, but that's also based on Chromium, so the root of the issue might be the same. Cosmochoria is a 64-bit NW.js game that has working Steam overlay, but it might be worth checking if the controller works too. Same with The Last Penelope.

Come to think of it, I think they deliberately disabled the GL inject stuff in Airscape because it caused the game to crash.

In general, I think it's a good idea to post in a game's Steam forums when you experience an issue, since if an issue goes unreported or seems like a corner case, there's little or no incentive for the devs to actually fix their games. Even if it has been reported before, make a new post in the thread and provide more details if necessary. The way I see it, it's more important for this curator to highlight issues to hopefully get them fixed than to have a ton of "recommendations" just for the sake of it.

I have the same problem. The things you need to continue on do not appear in the linux version.

Micron has level editor listed as a feature on the store front, but the editor only works on Windows, according to the tutorial[microngame.com]. It's included in the Linux version though, and it seems to work with Wine, but I haven't tested it extensively; nor do I plan to. Great game though.

On the one hand, I feel a bit uncomfortable with recommending games when Linux isn't officially supported, but on the other hand, if people are eager to try a game while it's in an open beta, it's good for all of us if that game has more Linux testers to help highlight issues, and it might lead to an overall more positive "Linux experience" for the developer and might speed up the release. So, I guess I'm leaning towards recommending them.

I think that's a good idea as well, but in certain cases, like with AIR games, we should point out that they probably won't work on SteamOS at all (as far as I know).
