How do we do it...
There is only one way to defeat this. And that means STOP buying keys for retarded prices!
For example : If a guy is selling keys on outpost for a stupid price do not buy it unless you desperately need a key. If nobody buys it in a couple of days it can be posted as proof on a backpack.tf suggestion! Doing so might decrease the price!

I didn't really think about a price yet. But if we made people stop buying keys for the current price it will be visible that it's too high, and therefore it will be easier to decrease with suggestions on backpack.tf

@[GMG] Vortex: I think 2.66 is a good price, what was it for a long time. I find this a great idea, keep it up! No more keys for ridiculous prices!

If they made keys cheaper buying items with keys would cost a lot more. Making the price for keys cheaper wouldn't really accomplish much...

from 4.66 to 2.66 is long way friends..i guess 3.22.3.66 will be a good price.. and in time maybe it will drop even more

It takes time to change the economy. 3.22 or 3.66 won't come until 3-4 months at least and even then this group does not change the entirety of the tf2 economy. but we'll try

Honestly, I'll be happy if we can even get prices lowered back to 4 ref. It's still too high, but at least it's something, you know?

Keys grew because of the black market REFINED price. They started to sell for under $0.40. That caused the price-increase of the keys. People who buy with real money don't give a f*ck, but we, the refined buyers can't buy them anymore.

Right, here's what we should do:

1. Stop buying keys at high prices, as said above.
2. Buy some keys with real cash from the store/Steam Market.
3. Sell at 3-4 ref and but for 2.66-3.66 until we can get the price down.
3 1/2. Get people into this group.
4. Repeat until we get down to 2.66-3.

DONE
