Steam branch of the global Legend of Dragoon community!

Hello everyone! I'm Drew, a long-time unofficial community organizer for Legend of Dragoon. Over the years I've contributed to the fandom in many ways, in the hopes of empowering fans and bringing them together. I continue that mission today.

As a welcome gift, here is a pinned thread with various links and resources to help connect you with the global Legend of Dragoon community.

The vast majority of gamers are used to old games being more of a fond memory. A game we pick up and replay every once in awhile, maybe talk about on social media a bit, et cetera. That's totally valid, but for those who want more... there can be more.

For anyone unaware, in the last few years many fans have come together to unearth all kinds of rare information about the game, do events together, and work on genuinely interesting projects.

One such project is Severed Chains, an unofficial PC port we're building as a community. It's an amazing program because it finally lets us unlock features we may prefer today, like 60FPS or true widescreen. Whether you want the game to look like the original, a remaster, a remake, or something else, SC can be that for you. The modding API will be greatly expanded once we get the current update shipped.

Many of you may have joined this group hoping LoD would come to Steam one day. I don't see Sony putting PS Classics on Steam, at least not in the near future, but you have options in the meantime. Severed Chains can be set as a non-Steam game if you prefer, and even better: SC runs on SteamDeck! Be sure to check it out when the next major update is released this summer.

Our fandom is living proof that we don't have to be stuck in the state of merely playing and liking the game as a thing of the past. Instead, we are a living, thriving community that breathes new life into LoD. Welcome to our golden age!
