The IP has changed again, and is now: 101.176.20.59:7777

It doesn't contain any of Vlad's mods at the moment, and instead has Half Life 2 monsters and ProjectOne, which alters zed speed, damage and spawn rate, among other things.

There's a small regular community on that server, we generally play every night.

You still can. werewolfsemenblood is hosting a server that has a decent amount of Vlad's mods on it, and it sometimes is running endless. The server is called "No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (In Memory Of Vlad)", or something similar to that. It's listed as ranked in the lobby, but it's actually unranked.

Oh, and don't be surprised if scrakes spawn during wave 1 and trader time :steamhappy:

It's usually empty during the day, but from about 6-12pm every night it generally fills up pretty well.

Sorry guys, I've decided to walk away for now. Maybe one day I'll have time and motivation to do some modding and run some servers again, but I'm totally not keen for it in the near future.

For those interested, werewolfsemenblood has setup a server with a subset of features I used to have, such as increased player count, zed count, double boss.

You'd effictively kill Killing Floor 2 for me if these servers go down. Do what you gotta do though. If you're over it then fair enough. Maybe take a break and come back whenever you feel like it (if you do).

Alright Vlad, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that TWI are being wanks about it. You're server was and is the bomb.
When your servers are down, the regular players are lost without them.
Please dont take them down just because of TWI. We'll support you.
We don't care about rank. I think you could use this opotunity to make the server bigger and better.

As players reach higher lvls they want more challenging games. Your hoe and endless servers will be great fun and will be very popular . Removing xp from modded servers is actually a good idea cause it keeps the annoying ppl out.. Dont rest too long eh)

SuperPerkTraining is a map though and has nothing to do with mutators oO It's would still be ranked, just like all other custom maps AFAIK

Yep, at lvl 25 you don't care about xp. And I enjoy playing with you guys on HoE.

The whitelist mechanism is already in place -- TWI have whitelisted their own player count mutator.

This update has also addressed a couple of issues I'd fixed previously, so the game itself is getting better.. ;)

I will think about just running HoE and/or Endless. Don't promise anything. I'm not too keen to put much effort when I see people on other servers instead. TWI just gave me another reason to quit. Dunno how it bothered them though.. And it's not like the servers had much publicity, I wasn't sending analytics stats to TWI even. Ah, anyway. Lemme take a break and we'll see.

Do you know if they're going to add a whitelist mechanism? If so, your servers should definitely be whitelisted because they're harder, and they can't be used to farm xp (anymore).

Vlad your Servers are by far the best. Dont care about xp. the mainstream can earn xp then jump onto your servers for some real fun) Otherwise i cant imagine playing kf2 that often.

It would be a shame to lose your servers as they have attracted a good community of players for all difficulties, them being unranked will basically kill all but the HOE server since most are lvl 25 there anyway but also had the lowest numbers regardless. Hopefully they reverse this decision eventually but knowing how often they update these things it could take a long time.

Well you've managed to attract a bunch of players who play predominantly (or solely) on your servers. I really doubt that you'd notice a huge drop in numbers due to them being unranked, well for HoE anyway. It is rare to see under level 25 perks on there. I hope that if you're not just over it entirely (which would be understandable), then you would at least give it a go to see the numbers you get. Don't let all of your hard work go to waste!

HoE server was the least populated of all. And no, it's not because there are few HoE players, they just seem to prefer vanilla servers. So be it.

Well most of the players on your server are level 25 anyway. I think most of them would stick around regardless of whether it's ranked or not. I definitely would.

Okay, I'm done here. TWI have tried hard and now you actually can't have a ranked modded server.

I might occasionally run endless, but other servers are probably dead.

Yeah it was really weird. I've seen it do that before at the end of a wave when most players are dead but this was happening all the time for all the waves i played and no players died at any time. All the sc and fp were doing it, the fp occaisionally attacked but the sc didn't attack when raged.

Hey Vlad, just an observation. I noticed the sc ai acting up in sui. They were running up to me raging and then stopping and taunting almost everytime. All team mates were alive and it was as if game conductor had kicked in.

ok i have had a look at it, seems like a very good defensive map, alittle small, only 2 balcony floors, zeds spawn from the ground so you can snipe them from the second floor, honestly dont see it being useful in 6 player matches, wont be enough zeds.

suicidal and hell on earth on your server might prove interesting.

its not a big map so it wont take long to check it out.

For those unaware, I believe I've fixed demo's duds when shooting zeds point blank.

Also, zerks now have 25 more HP and deal bonus damage equal in percentage to missing health (see passives in game).

@Pharrah I can find the total number of zeds the carrier killed in a wave, but that would include zeds killed with the rest of the team alive, which wouldn't be ideal.

I'm not a huge fan of arena maps myself, and I had removed them at some stage. But if that's what people are voting for, I'll just let them play it. Automatic rotation (when nobody votes) only includes official maps already.

I may have ruined the voting side of the server, everytime I join a Normal or Hard lobby on the server everyone that votes almost always votes for HorzineArena and I feel that it might be my doing that has done this, so my solution would be to try put in a map rotation block system where you have to wait a round or two until you can vote that map again, so HorzineArena doesn't become #1 played map on Normal and Hard.

That would be cool. But you'd probably also want to store their carry success rate. And maybe also degree of carry. Taking out the last 20-30 zeds by yourself is something, but doing it with 60+ is something else entirely. Unless it's Horzine Arena...

I would maybe suggest keeping track of the number of times you survive a wave when at least half of the team has died that wave. That is when the true survivors shine. You might need to handle quitting differently.
