I'll go first:

I found the KreenStream from the Dawngate community. I was up late one night playing some games and decided to check out some streams.. Kreen was the only one streaming that night, so I figured I'd check him out.. boom... new favorite streamer.

What I like about the KreenStream is that Kreen is very chill, keeps things laid back and non-trolly and non-rageful (to the best of his ability as a human) - which is very refreshing to see in a gamer.

The direction I'd like to see the KreenStream head is to keep as much gaming variety on stream as possible, which will help in building the viewerbase and community. New, fresh games are what people like to see (from a streamer standpoint).

There really isn't anything I could recommend to help make the stream better as I <3 the stream the way it is currently. Though keep in mind, same thing day-in & day-out will build a stagnant feeling over time. Just keep evolving the stream, and all will be well.

Welp, I was browsing people playing Dawngate, I saw a PIZZA in the little box and clicked on it. Kreen was doing quite well streaming, had very good interaction with his viewers so I subscribed. The REST is history.

I came for DG. I stayed for Valiant Hearts. I stuck around for pizza.

I am personally enjoying the variety of games Kreen is playing. I'm glad to be able to know that I will get an enjoyable stream, along with streamer and the community build around them with a very enthusiastic but not-as-flamboyant or troll mindset as some other streams I can find. I also enjoy that the mods have been around long enough to understand what's stiff and what's fair, which keeps the chat clean and organized. In the meantime, I do enjoy their attempt at including all people into the chat conversation who join, whether new or old, which I think is very important in any communities (isolation between groups in any open community will kill it, as I've seen based on experience).

What would I recommend for Kreen to get better at streaming? GETTING PAID BY TWITCH OF COURSE LOLOLOL

Seriously though, I think the stream is in a great spot by keeping a nice balance of games that can be both new, as well as those games that Kreen can always go back to playing (CoD seems like a game that's popping up these days). I think Kreen as a personality is great, as it is a type of stream personality which can mold and immerse in many different games, where skill level is largely irrelevant. My only suggestion would be not to lose this perk, and to continue communicating with the chat and the community that has built around it. As Majeye above me points out, continue the evolutional track of the stream, and the best will come out of everything.

If I can remember right...I stumbled upon Kreen once searching through Dawngate streams randomly, but really had no idea what he was about. Went about watching another streamer I frequented at the time (Muzzy!) and then he sent us over to Kreen. I decided to stick around this time and see what he was about...adored what I saw.

Everything I've seen and come to understand about Kreen's stream is a strong sense of community, safety, love and respect...kindness. It's a great feeling to open up Kreen's stream because you /know/ it's safe and happy, people will be respectful or get the boot. Nothing is perfect, but it's always been easy to see that this is strived for. The positive attitude and openness and the joyful spirit keep me coming back.

The one thing I want to keep seeing is Kreen enjoying himself and being warm and light-hearted, whatever game helps accomplish that. Staying the same track and opening horizons to different games or continuation/completion of games of his interest would be ideal though.

Perhaps a couple more mods since at times it can be a bit barren from mods (usually only 1 or 2 and sometimes they're afk). Sometimes it can get out of hand (personally I will never like slurs of any sort and sometimes they go missed). I do hope the stream maintains its same feel as it grows :)

How I found Kreen? Don't know but probably through DG directory on twitch or some other DG streamer pointing towards Kreen. At least DG was involved in the process.

What I like about Kreen? THE FRO BROH! But on a more serious note his diversity of games and his possitive character for sure makes me come back as well.

And as long as Kreen keep diversity of games I'm happy, but also hoping that there will be co-op games in the list to play together with his community. Those are quite fun even if I don't like the gametype like SE2 ;)

So I only recommend Kreen to stay as he is, his possitive self that tries out new games and plug in some games where he can play with the community from time to time.

If ended up finding kreen after he visited LeeGringo's stream a couple of times and decided to check him out. I really enjoyed the way he communicated with his viewers and the warmth he showed to everyone.

What i like about kreen's stream is the strong sense of a community and the way he enjoys playing games. Always really cheerful and fun to watch.

I have no idea in what way i want to see the kreenstream heading tho. I enjoy watching him and the community in the chat, so i will be there anyway :D

Wanted to watch a Dawngate stream late in the night after muzzy went offline, and found kreen.

My story is probably the most different as it doesn't start with DG - I wasn't of the Golden Generation!

Queenkillopatra was the person I first saw mention Kreen, during a conversation a third party in Twitch Chat, and I was basically "Da fuq is Kreenpananas!?" Much surprise was there that I'd never heard of this guy - people easily forget I am post-DG.

Kreen got a host from a DG-er at some point - I forget who - who I followed and so along I went to take a look. It was interesting enough the first time but there was something that intially put me off and so I hadn't planned to return. After some discussion with someone whom I trust, as much as you trust strangers over the internet you've never met, I deicided to give a second chance and have returned when I can since.

What an amazing set of stories! Thank you all for sharing. And IronDruid, I'm glad you gave it a second chance. Always glad to have you around. And thank you for your honest regarding being put off initially. That's how I feel about Pewdiepie....then again....I still feel that way...derp.

I'll definitely be picking up a couple of the book recommendations y'all set out in the other post. I dig it!

I found Kreen's stream cause one day I went to play Dawngate, but my net was being super stupid, it was like 6 am, after work and I couldn't get anything to work. I eventually got past log in, but figured it was a bad deal to play and there he was, featured streamer. I had just started streaming myself and I was like, why the heck not, maybe I can learn a thing or two and see how bigger streamers do it! And then I asked his fro to marry me, like the first night.
