Welcome to Discord! We're glad you're here.
(At least you're not a broom, right?)

INSANO EDGE: Submitting it today or tomorrow. Just need to do some mod cleanups.
Hopefully the thing won't be insanely buggy.
When it is out, I'll tell you in this chat.

What's new? Well, we still have Thaumcraft, Intangible, Psi... but we have INVENTORY PETS! SLOPES IN MINECRAFT! FLUID CHISELS AND BITS! TWO NEW DIMENSIONS! NEW TECHNOLOGIES! STUFF I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO USE YET!
Note that we ARE NOT on the bleeding edge anymore; all the modders are moving to 1.9.
Hope that we won't have to do a world reset if we decide to upgrade soon...

WATER ADVENTURES: Part of this spring break will be me figuring out how to convert it to a .exe. Probably impossible. If I can do it, great, I'll share it! If not... I'll upload the .py file and you can figure out how to play it yourself. :P

GAME OF THE WEEK: Gigantic
A while ago, I signed up for the Gigantic closed beta for Xbox One and Windows 10 and got in. They sent another code, so I'll just give it away IDK.

Gigantic is a MOBA-style game with giant creatures for Xbox One and Windows 10. It's in closed beta currently, but will be released to the public soon!

NEWS UPDATE: 1/15/15

GAMES OF THE WEEK:
Two actually. Two!

XBOX ONE AND PLAYSTATION 4 OWNERS: Want to try an open beta of a probably AAA game? Yes? Well, you have it.
Check the store, and you'll find PLANTS vs. ZOMBIES: Garden Warfare 2. It's a shooter in which you play as plants killing zombies. Seems good to me.
Lasts til Tuesday, so play it while you can!

FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE A CONSOLE (xD):
Go to Steam and download CONSORTIUM. Now. The game is a free weekend special that lasts til Monday. At least claim it (why not?); like Shadow Complex, once you claim it, it's yours to keep. But if you don't claim it, you'll miss out on the offer.
Apparently CONSORTIUM is supposed to be a story-based Mass Effect Style RPGFPS thing with choices, so have fun with that. I haven't played it, but it has very positive reviews.

COMMUNITY QUESTION:
Please be mindful of this.

If we were to make a new modpack:
-What version should it be on? We have two choices now:
* 1.7.10: more stability and lots of mods.
* 1.8.9 mods: cutting-edge, and many mods/modders are migrating to it. It has Thaumcraft 5, which is better than Thaumcraft 4 apparently. Many other things too. The problem is, because 1.8 mods are so new, there aren't that many.. and some are in alpha/beta (like Botania, missing models) Bugs and lack of content.

EVENT:
It won't be at Sunday at 2 this time; probably tomorrow! (I want to give others a chance.) Post when you'll be here in Random Chat, but I'll schedule it later.

MINECRAFT REALMS:
Tomorrow, my free trial expires. CutePiggy4Pres will host his one-month trial starting tomorrow. Please accept the invite when you get it!
