This beta uses the excellent JavaSteam[github.com] library by Longi94. JavaSteam is a new port of SteamKit to the Java programming language. Previously, Idle Daddy used an older port called SteamKit-Java, which hasn't been updated in a number of years.

Based on early reports and my own experience with the library, it seems to work much better than SteamKit-Java, so give it a try if you were experiencing random disconnections or other issues before.
