Is it possible to get viruses when using Remote Play as Host? Does the client have full pc access?
Hello guys,

I am new to this feature. Yesterday, my friend asked me to host remote play for EA FC 24 because his laptop is outdated and can't run the game properly. If my friend's laptop contains viruses, is it possible for the viruses to transfer to my pc while being the host? Also, when enabling Remote Play, does my friend have full access to my computer or only the game itself?

virus directly, no
but the remote user can control the host and install stuff or change settings etc..

steam should* only give access to the game
but it can also give access to the rest of the os

only remote play with people you 100% trust
