2005 - 2007

February 2025 marks 20 years since Sven-A-Holics was founded. That's genuinely a long time by any lifespan, and we've certainly all been through a lot in those years. I hope some day soon I can hear about it from each of you.

I look back on our short time together with warm fondness. Time has smoothed over the rough edges. When I browse the old forum, I am struck by how much stuff I no longer recall. Names I once knew, but can no longer put a voice to. I do not recognize much of my own writing. I accept responsibility for all of it, but it's as if someone else wrote it all.

It's for the best. I still remember the good times. Some nights, when I can't sleep, I get lost in deep introspection, remembering when I had nothing better to do on a given evening, and nothing else mattered besides having a good time with good friends: all of you. Nothing lasts forever, but sometimes I wish it could have.

If you're reading this, I hope you feel the same way, because DC and I would like to get us together for one more night. We would also like your help reaching out to people who would be interested in attending.

We will iron out an exact date soon, as we successfully reach out to as many people as we can. Probably a month out, so we can get our schedules to line up.
