why do you have to switch?
Easy now, lets discuss things. Noone will be forced to change nation.
To get a gameflow it is nice to have a coop on the majors, when you are at war. In my previous hoi games we used this system with some players on minors first and then switched to majors at war. Worked well, why Capi and I wanted to do it this way again. It gives a good flow in the game and you can avoid the use of pause. I have played germany alone in hoi3, when at war with UK, USSR and USA. Very stressing!!!
Back to the subject, noone will forced to change nation or sides. I might ask you to change nation or side. If say no, it ends there.
Always open for discussion and almost always we can work something out to everyone safisfaction.
