I'm glad that they didn't give it to him anyway. I just want the game to be rereleased on Steam again or something. It doesn't need a "remaster". Let alone from his studio... Their "remake" of the first System Shock looks like garbage.

Maybe the future of this series is a kick ass mod in the future which eventually gets made into a standalone game.

Nuclear, you said gunman isn't on Greenlight because only the owners of the rights can put it on greenlight, and you said as well that valve owns the rights.
so, Valve himself has to put the game in greenlight ?

I think that a really good idea will be to release Gunman 2 , but this time using the source engine as it has better graphics than the source engine.And maybe including GMan in the game will be a very good idea and that your mission will be to return to Earth but you'll fail many times by going to other planets and in the end you are on Earth , the same planet as in HL2 , and this will happen after City 17 was totally destroyed.Maybe a plan of GMan trying to stop you to go to Earth.That sounds amazing doesn't it!?

here is also another fan of Gunman Chronicles. Now I work with one of the Gunman team developers, Adrian Banninga, 3D modeler and animator for Rewolf on this game. He founded his own company (called Allgraf), where I'm working as Community Manager for their new and first game: Darkout.

Gunman is available to play when installed as a mod under your Half-Life directory. Frosty Bonz is currently hosting a couple servers. If you dont have the mod's files you should be able to get them shortly from filefront under "bonzfiles" or from another download location. You can join the Bonz group on Steam; google "steam bonz gunman". If you have the mod, you can grab a small update for the menu from this link: http://www.filedropper.com/resource

That's the point, there is no reason for them not to release it on Steam. They own the rights, they have Herb Flower's 'blessing', it wouldn't be much work. There is literally no reason for them not to.

It's not the same. If you simply want to play the game, you may find a few worn out, scratched copies on ebay, or if you are so inclined, you could probably torrent it. But in either case, it would be full of bugs, online play wouldn't work since WON has shut-down, and many people would still be unaware of it. People are beginning to forget a legendary game. A Steam resurrection would eliminate bugs, enable online play and present an easily accesible, official availability. Valve owns the rights, there is literally nothing stopping them. Even the original creator is perplexed. Hence this petition.

Why does'nt the leader who started the petition(probably has the game) release it on mediafire for all of us to to play?
