User is welcomed back when his (reduced) ban ends. He has to take responsibility for what he did, and maybe a break will help him with that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as stated in the rules one is not allowed to CLAIM multiple copies of the same game. This is done to avoid people claiming a game in multiple discussions and then when they get it deleting all claims. Other people want this game as well.

A permanent ban in this case is a bit radical, so I'll see what I can do (probably reduce it to a couple of days). I won't go on SG or contact him personally, though, so not sure if anything I do actually matters.

Could make a new post there. "Where did all the posts go?" and hopefully that gets attention.

I think it's best to keep the Group Buys forum as the main entry point, as this group is still called "Group Buys" ;).

Those will be moved to the right forum as soon as possible, without any references. Feel free to report, might make it easier for us, but I think most people have already figured out where to post their discussion, so not that important :)
