Hi, I sometimes see people saying they accept steam wallet as a payment method. How does this work?

I can guess it's one of two things but would like some clarification.

Is it:

A) The buyer agrees to buy an unwanted, low value marketable item from you at a price that will cover the value of the game(s) + the value of the item using their steam wallet funds.

B) The buyer sends you some marketable items and/or games that are worth the same as the game(s) you're giving them, (+ perhaps a little extra to cover the commision that Valve will take when you sell them if we're talking items)

C) Both have been known to happen

D) Neither
