Highly doubt that. I think the dev team has a specific purpose for wanting "schools only". Like wanting to know what attracts kids' attention, or testing how efficient certain game mechanics are related to teaching or the classroom in general.

It's nice that you suggested that but you lost me completely with the "like you are a teacher" bit. You are essentially telling him to do the right thing (ask the publisher/devs), while still lying a little.

Honestly, I am glad the publisher and/or dev is fine with your arrangement, because this much money surely helps. But as I said, OP hasn't even responded to my initial question and you are only trying to "help" simply because you want the game as well.

See, that is not exactly a reply to what I asked. Which leads me to believe that this is as shady as I thought.
In any case, I will reply to your questions.

First, I care because you may be lying in order to "comply" with an actual requirement (from the game's page). As I said, that would be shady. Not horrible or illegal in any country I suppose, but shady nonetheless. I'm pretty sure that if the company knew what you were doing, they probably wouldn't care, as this would give them exposure, but then again they actual took the time and the space to write "for schools only", so I don't really know. It could also be argued that this type of deal does not comply with the purposes of this group.

Lastly, I don't see how your question makes any sense. Like I said, the game's page explicitly states "for schools only", so I guess the answer to your question is "no, it would not be alright even if you are a teacher" (because this would not be for students nor for teaching anything).

Edit: Imagine those stores who have special discounts for teachers trying to buy stuff for their classes, because the school does not have enough materials or money. If you came in saying "I'm a teacher (wink wink) and I would love that discount for myself and my students" , wouldn't that make it shady?

I mean, are you really a teacher? Because if not, isn't this a little shady? It definitely says "for schools only"...
