Not recommending anyone to start buying multiple copies of all games, just saying that if you rarely need a copy for a friend, please label it as such if you can't for some reason invite them into the group. That's what was written in the first post I linked.

"No claiming multiple copies of the same game/bundles. Other people want that game too. If you want multiple copies of the same game/bundle, give hosting a try."

I saw it multiple times written by mods that there's a way to claim a copy for your friends if its labeled as such. In this case if brd would come to this forum, wrote that he bought it for a friend XXX and then his friend would come here to confirm that, then he's completely fine and didn't break any rules. Though usually people don't go that far.
