my question about the 25% markup on steam wallet is

does that include the 5 or 15% tax that valve charges?

because i've had people make me pay 40% markup with wallet, saying the 25% does not include fees like the 5% valve tax and the 10% dota 2 tax.

i'm now going to try using some spiral knights item i found out about that supposedly doesnt charge the extra 10% tax. all this time i've been using dota 2 items and no one told me i could save 10% by using this spiral knights item. knowing my luck, there will be a 10% spiral knights tax... :)

i've tried telling them that the maximum profit they can make is 6% with paypal, or 10% with steam wallet, which is 25% markup minus the 15% tax.

People are trying to make profit left and right. Unfortunately a lot of traders are in this group trying to increase the price as much as they can. I suggest to find a few guys that accept wallet and stick with them.
