Help with notifications.
For some reason I'm not getting notifications from this group whenever someone quotes me/replies to my comments. Any idea how to fix it?
Should I subscribe to the discussions I comment in?

If you're not subscribed to the discussion, then you won't always get a notification when someone quotes you. I don't think the Steam forum software works like that.

I've started subbing to all discussions I comment in, now. The system leaves a lot to be desired.
