New IG Group Buy Subscription (US PayPal)
Just found out my regular host will be retiring soon from doing subscriptions, so I'm considering possibly hosting IG bundles myself starting April if there is enough interest especially from US bundle buyers as that's where my PP account is based, and there aren't any hosts in that region in GB right now.

Will only accept permanent subscriptions from people who know they will get at least 80% of the IG bundles, though. Too many skips and it's too much work for me also, so I'd prefer if people just opt-in instead if they only get a few bundles every now and then.

Any takers? Just post here or message me if we're already friends. Will screen people before accepting perma subs, and will prefer people who have a long history of joining group buys here and paying on time and things like that. Min 20 bundles per group buy, max 40 for now.

When it comes to group buys, I'm a noob. But I'm a straight shooter and don't like drama.
Busy and only have time for steam/gaming at Monday through Weds these days.

My biggest problem with GB in the past has been lack of communication and impatience on the sellers part... understandably, people are annoying. ;) lol Never had any problems, just run into sellers that won't communicate well enough, so I keep my $ & pay a bit more for the lack of hassle. I don't think I've bought a GB in... about 18 mo.

Hi guys. Sorry for not being able to pick this up sooner. Just go really busy in real life. Anyway, it's kind of a trial period but will start hosting IG bundles starting this week with the Microids bundle here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/groupbuys/discussions/0/3288067088108256760/

If you are still interested in subscribing, I already have you listed there. The 80% is kind of a ball park figure and can change. Basically, what I'm trying to get are subscribers who DO regularly prefer to get most bundles as opposed to subs who skip all the time, because I have to keep updating the lists whenever people cancel reservations, and that really takes up a lot of time.

We'll figure out the pre-payment terms later if we do end up doing this long term, and hope everything will work out for all of us involved. Everyone's welcome to join, by the way. Not just people in the US. I can also add GoGo/Otaku/Bunchkeys bundles if there's interet in subs for those. Whatever works.

I'd be interested in the occasional GoGo / Otaku, but it would be much less frequent than IG's.

Yeah, definitely. I wouldn't host the GoGos unless there are at least 50 people minimum per bundle anyway as that's when the best price is for those bundles. Also Manuel and Kenshin are hosting most of them already, although I think that's because people haven't been hit with the PP fees yet. I don't know if there are enough US based bundle buyers here for the GB to work out for us. We'll just have to wait and see. To be honest, I wouldn't mind just quitting bundle buying cold turkey lol. But I'd at least like to put in some effort before quitting completely hahaha!

I keep thinking I'll quit... then IG drops a bundle with one wishlisted game and a couple other games that aren't crap if I squint. Then it's back on the bundle crack.

Yup! Same with me. The HH prices for these bundles are cheaper than just buying a single game you want directly from steam, so it's a no brainer to just get the whole thing even if the majority of the games are kind of meh :/

Same. Occasional for me too. Depending on RL time... I get about 50% of the IG bundles...

Hey thanks for the offer Fatal! Didn't know you also had a US PP. I'll add you so we can keep in touch, but I've already started a group buy for the Microids bundle, and I'll probably get whatever comes out today for the 2 guys who expressed interest in getting bundles already (unless you have space for all 3 of us haha!). I get nearly every IG, and pretty 50/50 on bunchakeys/gogo (usually buy two of these when I do). Saw today that that gogo was .72 cents, and got hit with a .76 fee for Kenshin. So I would be interested in a US based GB. I am all set for microids though.

Hey there. That's cool. I'll message you for more deets. I haven't figured out a lot of things for how to handle subscriptions yet as I'm used to just doing opt-in group buys in the past. Just hoping to get at least a minimum 20 people per bundle for the GB to be worth it for all of us. Otherwise, it's kind of just a waste of time as well. Cheers!

Hi guys. Just another quick update. I have craeted a separate group for us just to keep it simple and easier to track bundles I'm hosting. I will send invites to all appropriate people when I have finished writing down rules and whatnot for the group.
