How does the 4 pack split work considering the new gifting policy changes?

I've bought the 4 pack already, got the game added to my account plus 3 gift copies put in my inventory. The new gifting restrictions do not apply to 4 packs as far as I know.

Doubt it will come up in it, but I'm waiting for the Humble Monthly release at the end of this week and if it doesn't show up in that or the weekly bundle, I could be interested in 2 copies. Don't hold them on my account.
