Does this also cover stating what was paid for the bundle?

Does this rule apply to Leftovers? If so RIP to 90% of leftover threads.

Good luck mods

I agree. A simple explanation would be appreciated. 0.5 or 1 buck difference shouldn't mattered much as long as buyers/joiners can understand what's the logic behind the pricing.

Good. I've seen too many people try and make silly profits off these bundles. If you want a profit, go somewhere else. This place is supposed to be a community about fairness.

When i last split a monthly, i was under the assumption that i could sell them for $2 US each which i think is appropriate but then i noticed that people we're bumping the showcased game even more so i'd figure that people can make their own judgement whilst refraining from under or overvaluating the games.

Personally, I think it's fair to exercise your own judgement about the pricing of each item, within reason, as long as the total is $12 and also as long as the ones you're keeping aren't blatantly underpriced, as you say. It's silly to force an equal price between two games which clearly have different levels of demand.

Also, how can we appropriately price the games we are selling? A straight split works well with some bundles, but doesn't work at all with others (e.g. Humble Monthly). Do we then price these bundles according to our own values, or the going market demand, or some other value? If it's according to our own perceived values who is to judge if our value is appropriate/valid or not? As an example, I personally would value H1Z1 at $0.50, if that, because I don't want it, it's multiplayer online only, there are better alternatives, it's unfinished, etc., but someone else might value it at $3 because they really like it.

Does this apply to all forums? Example: I have a thread in the Leftovers forum with games from multiple bundles listed, would I need to list the contents of every single bundle, along with a price breakdown? If so this seems impractical and would create an unsightly and lengthy mess.

I do agree, there is a problem here of people intentionally undervaluing games they keep and overpricing games they don't want but that are in high demand. Recent examples include Shadow Tactics, Darkest Dungeon, Stardew Valley, etc., being sold for $6 or more, a significant portion of the bundle price. One seller here, whom I had bought from before, listed Shadow Tactics as being for sale around $4 and when I messaged him privately to offer a more reasonable price of $3 he refused and bumped up his listed price to $5. I later saw him approaching someone in the WTB forums trying to sell it for even more. To me this is egregious and goes against the spirit of this group.

Amen to this.

If the whole bundle is up for sale as a complete package, then there is no need for a price break-down.
