GRN ARK Server Discussion Group

Ahoy peeps,

I know we haven't done much with Ark lately but in preperation for for a brand new media website launch next month we've retired the second version of our Ark server and rebuilt a brand new third version which we hope to pair with a dedicated SotF next year.

The new server is full tech, mostly vanila with the following exceptions :-

0.75% XP gain
Longer Day / Night cycle
Dino corpse decay is 2x slower than default
Food and water loss is reduced by 25%
Alpha dinos are currently disabled to allow for a less threatening start in an already more difficult Winter Wonderland setting.

The 229 patch looks like it is going to balance tamed pets a bit more in line with wild ones, so the changes we were previously using on the former Primitive server build are not necesary any more ... or at least we suspect.

Regardless, it's a brand new world and open ahead of our full promotion when the GAMINGNOW website launches next month so feel free to stop by and get a foot hold over the festive season.

The new server should automatically repalce the old in your favorites but if not, you can identify it in the unofficial servers as [GAMINGNOW] Ark Server or join via IP 188.138.9.6:7777 as usual.
