when looking at the server list before selecting a class, you can select a region and a server, and press play or join.

What's the difference between pressing join and pressing play, and why does selecting a different region and pressing refresh do nothing to the server list? Is US and EUROPE a server that's listed as a region to say that it's official?

The left hand side is the Quick match section of the play menu. This will quickly put you in the best server based on players and region.

The right hand side of the play menu is the newly added server browser which allows you to select the server you wish to play on so that you can play with friends.

Currently there are only US servers online.

The two sub-menus are not linked together so selecting a region on the quick match will not change the server browser
