Almost a year after the release of a giant turd, SotS2 is now "all clear" meaning it's the version of the game Kerberos "intended it be at release." The game is legitimately playable now though some people still don't like some of the new systems that were added in the sequel like the fleet system. I understand how to use it and it's alright, but it's a bit convoluted. Some people don't like the bloat on the strategic layer, which I can understand. Need to spend more time in the mid-late game before making my own judgement.
