Mystery island project
Hello there!

I posted this before in the sticky topic at the top of the page and was asked if I wanted to make a topic about it, so here it is. In rougly 5 days I had created the first part of my series, Mystery Island Adventure part 1. It featured custom music (ripped from youtube), sexy shadows from sunlight and an underground structure with cave walls. It was greatly received with comments asking me to start working on part 2, so I did. I'd like to say that I'm not trying to advertise anything nor do I want to put myself on a pedestal of allmighty mapping-knowledge.

The employee lobby, mind that I still have to detail further. This section is underground, the skybox is explained later in this topic.

The hallway with the employee quarters, again there is a skybox for the lighting. The door at the end shakes violently and has monster sounds behind it, this door is inaccessible.

The reason for the light/darkness in the lobby is: The button behind the desk activates/deactivates the skybox. When it is deactivated brushes and props appear that should make the player understand that the entire sky in the complex is FAKE. This is after all an underground facility.

I intend on making this map bigger than part 1 and feature different environnements, it will feature a temple as well.
