A new Classic Doom Online event is on it's way. We will now be using ZDaemon instead of skulltag because it is WAY easier to get working. Hopefully this will cut down on all the technical probloms we have been having in the past on doom night.

Download the latest version, drop Doom2.wad in the folder labeled "Wads" and your are good to go. No setting paths, no updating necissary. (ZDaemon handles that on it's own.)

I have been play testing with Cendoo who is now an administrater and will be heading the future classic Doom nights. Hope to see you all there.

I am hoping to host some Quake 1 events soon. The game is 5 bucks for the next little while or so.

When we get the events going, CD copies of the game will work just fine, so if you have the old CD hanging around, dust it off, get it installed, and get the QuakeWorld patch.

This week Seb, Darabka and myself rocked out in Skulltag playing some classic Doom with new revamped monsters in invasion mode. (This was outside of steam but if anyone would like help getting this set up, let me know.) Always a good time.

Meanwhile, Gooch and ClassicL337 (Tony) were enjoying some Guild Wars. Long term, were hoping to get more people involved with thier Guild Wars group. I know this is an expensive game, so I'll be on the lookout for sales.

I can't wait for my copy of Guild Wars to show up in the mail so I can join you guys. Thanks again Tony, and thanks to everyone who jammed out with some games. Thursday night is a night to look forward to.

I'll be schedualing the next Team Fortress Classic night in a little while. What day does everyone like? If I don't hear back from anyone, I'll plan for next thursday again.

Also, Terraria is on sale for like, 2.50 today. This is a good time to pick it up for possible group action. PvP is very well supported in that game making it a good pick for us. Just saying.
