Welcome to the Technical Institute of Advanced Garbological Research!

Garbology is a new and exciting area concerning itself with the various aspects of the recently discovered and exceedingly rare resource known as Garbonium.

Here at the institute, cutting edge research is continuously carried out investigating and improving the refinement, interactions, harnessing techniques, and creation of various Garbonium compounds and products.

We have been living with and using Garbonium unknowingly for ages, most often in the unrefined form we know commonly as Garbo. It has been found that Garbonium is most easily studied in online gaming, with the best lab model so far being one called "Counter Strike".

Agents are constantly recruited to further our body of research and are strongly encouraged to partake in data analysis as we go forward.

Some of the main tenets already discovered and considered best practice to follow in game are:

1. Always strive to win by giving your all in every game. This includes being fully focused, communicating with teammates, playing for the team, and assisting others wherever possible.

2. Do not trash your own team. You are a team for the length of the game, and part of that is supporting your teammates: when they succeed, and when they inevitably fail at times. As research has concluded, putting your team down for not doing well dramatically decreases your chances of winning.

3. Understand and accept that you will lose. A lot. More than likely, you will lose more than win. But enjoyment, improvement, and excellent data can all be reaped from losses, sometimes more than wins. As a result, we must keep our heads together and remember the tenets even when a win seems out of reach.

4. Remember that all who play are potential future Garbo agents. Treat not just your team with respect, but all who play. Doing so will ensure the growth of the Garbological sciences and will reduce hostility among your own team, as salt is the natural enemy of any Garbonium compound discovered to date.
