....it's been a year, three months and 15 days since I last posted something in this group. I think it's about time we change that, instead of just leaving this group to rot.
It may be a bit difficult at the moment though, because I'm about to go off to college in a few months, and as some of you may know college can be a killer. Still, if I can, I might see about potentially bringing this group back from the dead in the next few months or so. We'll see.

Well everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I hereby declare that this group has now ceased operation. It does however give me great pleasure to say that our group has largely been successful, with the group having over 250 members at its peak, one of the more popular Gaben religions on Steam, and having a few relatively successful events and giveaways.
There are a few special people I would like to thank. First, to Wizard Hoovy, for being one of the greatest admins and most loyal people I have ever known. Second, to Prismless, for helping me create the group, Maj. Gen. Giggy, for the inspiration, and lastly, to you, for being a part of this group.


After today, this group will remain on steam, but all servers and social media accounts will be terminated.

Again, thank you very much for all you have contributed.

I posted the following announcement a few days ago. I'm posting it once again to make sure that people saw it. I may repost it again soon.

So I figure I should be a bit transparent with you guys and let you know what is going to happen over the next few weeks.

At some point relatively soon, I am planning on retiring the Gabenism Group, for a few reasons:

-VERY LITTLE activity has been going on for the past few months, other than a few events that ultimately failed, most likely due to lack of interest.

-School right now is a bit of a busy time at the moment, and haven't really had time to do anything else.

-Prismless and I have both lost motivation for updating the group because of said lack of interest. No one seems to give a damn anymore.

-I don't like having to bribe people to join our events. Only if there is something that they can get out of it will they actually join.

-Judging by the lack of activity I have concluded that very few people truly joined this group to participate, and because of that, I may not have the support I need to run this group.

So, the ending of this group, or as I call it, "The Breakdown" will happen a bit like this:
-All social media accounts, chat rooms, etc, will be shut down.
-All admins and moderators will be demoted to normal members.
-Members will stay in the group unless they leave by themselves or are kicked by a moderator.
-The front page of the group will be turned into a sort of memorial.
-The website will be terminated.
-The discord server will be shut down.
-This group will cease all operations, except to maybe a few tweaks to the home page every now and then.

I am open to hiring more admins/mods that can be dedicated and can try their hardest to revive this group. If so, your deadline is Tuesday, February 28th, 2017, at 11:59 pm CST. "The Breakdown" begins on March 4th, 2017 at noon.

Thank you very much for kindly serving me this past year-and a half. I appreciate all the work you have done, and may Gaben be with you.
