Tay-K was NOT armed while in the building where Ethan Walker was shot. ALL testimony regarding the case corroborates with that statement. Case evidence including text messages also supports the testimony and the fact that Tay-K did not deserve his murder charge or lengthy sentence (which was a longer sentence than the shooter). Now, it is true that he did commit aggravated robbery, and that is undeniable and absolutely unjustifiable. However, the murder charge is a miscarriage of justice and Tay-K should be released based on time served before trial.

Now, when McIntyre's case is compared to similar cases such as Amber Guyger's, we see that there is a very clear difference in how the trial and sentencing process was handled. Amber Guyger checked all of the boxes for felony murder. She actually pulled the trigger and directly murdered Botham Jean after breaking into his house. This also occurred in the state of Texas, where the Felony Murder Law is in place (keep that in mind).

So, we have lots of similarities. Same state, and same crimes. However, there is one thing that divides how the two cases were handled and treated. The outcome of these two cases was very clearly determined long before the crimes were ever committed. It is racial bias.

Amber Guyger was convicted of (only) murder after committing murder and aggravated robbery by breaking into Botham Jean's house and killing him. Sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Taymor McIntyre was convicted of 2 counts of aggravated robbery and murder after breaking into Ethan Walker's home unarmed, not even committing the murder. Sentenced to 55 years in prison.

Now, did Tay-K deserve both of his aggravated robbery charges? Absolutely. Did he receive a fair and just trial and a fair and just sentence? Absolutely not.
